JAZZ IS ALIVE' IN SAN ANTONIO

Despite a rainy September 18th Weekend in San Antonio - Travis Park was packed with families enjoying the great Jazz sounds of Paul Elizondo, Justo Almario, Urban 15 and Kevin Eubanks this Saturday Afternoon.

Jazz 'SALive' is a FREE two-day event "Jazz Festival held each year at Travis Park in the heart of downtown San Antonio, Texas. The event is put together by the San Antonio Parks Foundation and the City of San Antonio.  A special thank you from this photographer to Teresa Keck, Lila Cockrell, Evangelina Flores and Belinda Rodriquez for all the long hours and hard work that went into making this a fantastic event.

How many of us see something, we see it once and then say "wow", only we don't have a camera to capture that moment.... and it remains with us a subtle memory soon to fade in to our pages of busy lives.

There are a lot of moments in our lives where "wow" describes the moment, it may be a silent internal life reflection -wow-, it maybe a moment and place where you whisper wow, it maybe a life altering all inspiring WoW, or a fantastically surprisful WOW!

These moments only happen once and if your lucky twice, and if your really, really lucky you live in the wow !


Those are the images I aspire to capture every time I have my camera in my hands, and every time I photograph an event.
